1488. The Lord who bestowed nectar to the Devas by churning the ocean & who wields the discus, conch & sword resides in Tirunaraiyur where truth speaking priests reside. (Refers to Nachiyar Koil – one of the 108 Divya Desams located near Kumbakonam)

1489. The Lord who manifested as a lion (Narasimha avatar) to tear apart the wicked Hiranyakasipu with his bare claws resides in Tirunaraiyur where the Koel bird sits on branches chirping melodiously & where flowers blossom in abundance in the gardens.

1490. The Lord who defeated the armies comprising of elephants, horses & foot soldiers in Lanka (Rama avatar) resides in Tirunaraiyur where tortoise lie hidden in the water-logged paddy fields while farmers gather fish with their bare hands.

1491. The Lord who feasted on butter & then was tied to the mortar stone as punishment and who subdued ferocious bulls to win the hands of Nappinnai (Krishna avatar) resides in Tirunaraiyur where peacocks frolic in the flower gardens while bees feast on the nectar of Lotus flowers.

1495. The Lord who drove the chariot of white horses for Arjuna & who was responsible for the death of Jayadrata (Krishna avatar) resides in Tirunaraiyur where cranes that feed on fish rest in the waters amidst Lotus blossoms.

1496. The Lord who relieved the world of its burden by driving the chariot of Arjuna & who is revered by the Devas (Krishna avatar) resides in Tirunaraiyur where cranes swim here & there in cool waters that smell of nectar oozing from Lotus flowers.

1497. These verses about the Lord who wears a Tulasi garland & resides in Tirunaraiyur have been composed by Tirumangai. Those who recite these verses will become attendants to the Lord himself.
